Hi all,
It has struck me that there are very few decent dream interpretation books out there and none of them really focus on the importance of dreams in relation to the individual that has experienced a particular dream. Often there are general and non-specific interpretations given for dreams that could relate realistically to everyone and anyone but what is the actual significance of individual dreams brought to specific people.
Dreams relate to high brain activity and are often brought to us in order to let us re-evaluate or better understand the things that are happening in our conscious lives. It has been argued that whilst our mind is in the unconscious state, we are more able to freely access our own subconscious thoughts which are often suppressed in the waking world by stress, worry and fear. The unconscious mind removes that veil and allows us access to the messages that are meant for us.
Over the coming weeks, I will be posting a series of dream interpretation blogs including some of my own dream interpretations as well as useful steps to help you in interpreting the meanings of your own dreams.
Today, I posted a new page on my website which links to the dream interpretation side of my work and shows the key steps to starting to find the meanings behind the odd or ordinary dreams that we are faced with at night. The steps are as follows:
1. Look out, purchase or make a small diary that can easily be stored beside your bed.
2. Decorate it with peaceful images or things that remind you of calmness.
3. Set out a pen/pencil or a pencil case with a few coloured pens next to the diary.
4. Once you have done this place these beside your bed.
5. Remember to record your dreams at the first opportunity afterwards.
6. Pick out the key concepts that stood out for you in your dream.
7.
Look up these either online, in dream books or of course on here to see
if your key concepts match
up to important messages to you at this
time.
8. Write down what you can
interpret from all of the key concepts and the research you have done.
Take out the important points that mean things to you.
9. Put the dream book away unless you have another dream before a week is up.
10.
After a week, read over your dream and interpretation of what it
meant. Take time to reflect on it and consider why this dream came to
you. Feel free to take notes as you go.
I would be really interested to hear about any strange or unusual dreams that have come your way and will choose some to interpret if you would like to email any to: crystalhealingsanctuary@gmail.com
Stay tuned for some basic dream themes and their meanings coming very soon!
As always, please feel free to comment below as I love hearing from everyone :)
Love and Light,
Meg at Psychic Crystal Cave
